Out and about

Susanna was not old enough to go to the bell choir concert on temple square, so while Melissa and the rest of the crew enjoyed those festivities, we explored City Creek (sat in the Disney store and watched Frozen sing-along clips ad nauseam). We did visit the game store, which had a full length mirror covering a wall. Susanna became very apprehensive, and grabbed onto my leg and pulled with fright. "Dad, there is a girl over there who looks just like me and she is staring at me." Took the photo after explaining it is a mirror.

The weather was nice after Thanksgiving, so we went to the park for some family photos. How messed up is it that our kids all love heights?

Halloween Entry

Some of our friends held a halloween video party. Families were asked to submit a scary, funny, or Halloween themed home video. We each shared a nightmare we had, but unfortunately, they got mashed up. This was our entry:

Video Games Live

David bought us season tickets to the Utah Opera, Symphony, and Hale Center Theater with our date money budget for the year. I am pretty excited! Then he took Tim to the first Symphony. (It was a brilliant move.) The first concert was Video Games Live. You can watch YouTube videos of it to get a perspective on what it is - music from the soundtracks of video games with a laser light show, projections of the games, and lots of jokes for video game players. It was one of the entertainment highlight's of Tim's life thus far. He could not stop raving about how awesome it was...

Mexico

For our 12th Anniversary, we went to Mexico. We stayed at an all inclusive resort which we highly recommend: The El Dorado Casitas Royale. For eight days we gorged ourselves on amazing food, swam in the ocean, enjoyed our swim-up suite, snorkled, visited Chichen Itza and Tulum, relaxed, and read. A wonderful and needed vacation. Here are a handful of our 300 pictures.
